Should students pick a major they love or one that pays well? What should they think about when choosing? Share your thoughts.
View 130+ Band Transcript
"I think students should try to find a balance between passion and practical value when choosing a major. If they choose only what they love without thinking about job opportunities, they may face a lot of stress later. On the other hand, if they choose only based on salary, they may feel bored, exhausted, or disconnected from their work. Neither extreme seems ideal to me. A major should fit both a student’s interests and their realistic goals. When making this decision, students should think about three things. First, they should ask themselves what subjects they truly enjoy studying, not just what sounds impressive. Second, they should look at career paths connected to that major and see whether those jobs match the kind of lifestyle they want. Third, they should think about their own strengths. Sometimes a student is interested in a field, but their natural skills may point them toward a related option that fits better. For example, someone who loves art but also values financial stability might consider design, marketing, or digital media instead of choosing between art and money as if they are complete opposites. So, yeah, I do not think students need to pick one side only. The smarter choice is usually a thoughtful middle ground. A good major is one that keeps you motivated while still helping you build a stable future."
Why do we need to work well with others at school or work? How can we build better relationships with these people? What makes you think this?
View 130+ Band Transcript
"We need to work well with others at school or work because very few important things are done completely alone. In class, students often have group projects, discussions, or shared responsibilities. At work, people usually depend on teammates from different departments or with different skills. If people cannot cooperate, even simple tasks can become stressful and slow. I think good relationships matter because they create trust. When people trust each other, they communicate more openly, ask for help more easily, and solve problems faster. To build better relationships, the first step is respect. That sounds basic, but it really matters. People should listen, be on time, and take responsibility for their part instead of making excuses. Another important thing is clear communication. A lot of conflict comes from unclear expectations, not from bad intentions. I believe this because I have seen both good and bad teamwork. In the best situations, everyone felt comfortable sharing ideas, and even disagreements were productive. In the worst situations, people avoided communication or acted defensively, and the whole group suffered. So, yeah, getting along with others is not just about being friendly. It is about being reliable, thoughtful, and willing to understand different perspectives. Those habits make school and work more effective, and they also make daily life much less stressful for everyone involved."
Describe your perfect weekend. What activities would you complete and what types of people would you spend time with? Explain why this would be a perfect weekend for you.

"My perfect weekend would be simple, relaxed, and full of the kinds of activities that help me feel recharged. On Saturday morning, I would wake up without an alarm, make a good breakfast, and take my time starting the day. Then I would probably go outside for a walk, maybe in a park or somewhere with trees and fresh air. That kind of quiet beginning always helps me clear my mind. Later in the day, I would meet one or two close friends, not a huge group, because I enjoy deeper conversations more than noisy social events. We might have coffee, share a meal, and talk about life, work, or funny everyday things. In the evening, I would love to watch a film or read something interesting at home. On Sunday, I would keep the pace slow. I might do a little exercise, clean my space, and plan for the coming week so I feel organized instead of stressed. I would also want a bit of personal time to learn something new or work on a hobby. For me, this would be a perfect weekend because it has balance. There is rest, connection, movement, and a little reflection too. I do not need constant excitement to feel happy. Honestly, the best weekends are the ones that leave me feeling calm, refreshed, and ready to return to everyday life with better energy."
Tell me about your best holiday experience. Why was it meaningful to you? Which moment brings you the most joy to remember?
View 130+ Band Transcript
"My best holiday experience was a trip I took with my family a few years ago to a quiet coastal town. It was not a luxury vacation and nothing dramatic happened, but that is exactly why it was so meaningful. Our daily lives were usually busy, and everyone was focused on school, work, or personal stress. During that trip, for once, we all slowed down. We walked along the beach in the morning, ate simple local food, and spent long evenings talking without checking our phones every few minutes. What made the trip special was the feeling of peace. There was no pressure to follow a strict schedule or visit famous places just for photos. We just enjoyed being together. The moment that brings me the most joy to remember is one sunset we watched near the water. The sky changed color very slowly, and the whole place became quiet. No one said much, but it felt like we were all thinking the same thing, that life can be beautiful when it is simple. I still remember that moment because it reminded me that happiness does not always come from exciting events. Sometimes it comes from being fully present with people you love. So, yeah, that holiday was meaningful not because it was perfect, but because it gave me a memory that still feels warm and calm whenever I think about it."
Many jobs or classes require people to work closely with others. Why is it important to get along with coworkers or classmates? How can people develop good relationships at work or at school? Give reasons to support your opinion.
View 130+ Band Transcript
"It is important to get along with coworkers or classmates because good relationships make shared work much smoother and more effective. In most jobs and classes, people do not succeed only because of individual ability. They succeed because they can cooperate, communicate clearly, and support one another when problems appear. If people constantly argue or ignore each other, even talented groups can fail. One reason good relationships matter is efficiency. When people trust each other, they share information more openly and solve issues faster. Another reason is emotional well-being. School and work already bring enough pressure, so a respectful environment can make a huge difference. To develop good relationships, people should start with basic habits. They should listen carefully, speak politely, and keep their promises. Reliability is really important. If someone always finishes their part late or avoids responsibility, trust disappears quickly. I also think people need to handle disagreements in a mature way. Conflict is normal, but it should be discussed calmly instead of becoming personal. I believe this because I have seen that strong teams are not always the ones with the smartest individuals. Often they are the ones where people feel safe sharing ideas and asking for help. So, yeah, getting along is not just a social bonus. It is a practical skill that improves results, lowers stress, and creates a better experience for everyone involved."

What makes you worried? Why does this worry you, and how do you handle these worries?
View 130+ Band Transcript
"What makes me worried most often is the feeling that time moves faster than I expect. There are so many things I want to do, like learn new skills, improve my health, spend time with people I care about, and make progress in my work. Sometimes I worry that I will waste too much time on small things and miss bigger opportunities. I think this worries me because time is the one thing we can never get back. If I make a bad purchase, I can earn the money again. But if I lose months or years by being distracted, that is much harder to fix. Another reason is that I put pressure on myself. I want to do well, and sometimes that turns into overthinking. When I start feeling that way, I try to handle the worry in practical ways. First, I write down what is actually bothering me. That helps me separate real problems from vague fear. Then I focus on one step at a time instead of trying to solve my whole future in one day. I also try to talk to someone I trust, because hearing another perspective usually makes things feel more manageable. So, yes, worry is part of life, but I think it becomes easier to handle when I turn it into action instead of letting it stay only in my head."
If you could visit any time in history, where would you go? Who would you bring, and what would you do there?
View 130+ Band Transcript
"If I could visit any time in history, I would probably choose the early twentieth century, when many big cities were changing very quickly because of technology, art, and new ideas. I think I would go to Paris in the 1920s. It seems like such an exciting period. People were creating new styles in painting, music, literature, and even fashion. The whole atmosphere must have felt energetic and full of possibility. I would bring one of my close friends who loves history, because traveling with someone curious would make the experience much richer. We would walk through museums, small cafes, and old streets, and we would talk to local artists if we had the chance. I would especially want to see how ordinary people lived, not just famous people. For me, that is always the most interesting part of history. I also think visiting that period would help me understand how culture changes over time. Today we have the internet and fast communication, but back then ideas still spread across borders in powerful ways. So, yeah, I would not go there just for fun. I would go there to observe how creativity grows in a society and how people keep making beautiful things even when the world is uncertain."
What must your age group do for future generations? Which problems should you help solve? Why is this crucial?
View 130+ Band Transcript
"I think my age group has a big responsibility to future generations, especially in the areas of the environment, digital culture, and social trust. First, we need to take climate problems seriously. If we keep consuming resources carelessly and ignoring pollution, younger generations will inherit a much harder world. We do not have to solve everything overnight, but we do need to support cleaner habits, smarter policies, and more responsible business choices. Second, I think we should improve the way people behave online. Right now, the internet spreads useful information very fast, but it also spreads anger, false news, and unhealthy comparison. My generation should help create a digital culture that is more honest and respectful. Another issue is social trust. In many places, people are becoming more divided and suspicious of each other. That makes it harder to solve shared problems. Future generations need communities where cooperation is still possible. I think this is crucial because the problems ahead will be too large for individuals to handle alone. Climate change, public health, and education all require long-term teamwork. So, honestly, I believe our role is not only to enjoy the present. We need to leave behind stronger systems and better habits. If we make more thoughtful choices now, even small ones, future generations will have more stability, more opportunity, and maybe a little more hope."
How would life differ if we only used local products? What imports would you miss most? What would change?
View 130+ Band Transcript
"If we only used local products, life would probably become simpler in some ways but more limited in others. On the positive side, local products can support nearby businesses, reduce transport pollution, and strengthen local communities. People might become more aware of where their food and goods come from, which could encourage more responsible consumption. In that sense, relying more on local products sounds healthy and sustainable. However, if we used only local products, I think daily life would lose a lot of variety and convenience. Different regions produce different things, and no single place can easily make everything people need or enjoy. For example, I would probably miss imported fruits, coffee, electronics, and certain books or cultural products. These things connect us to the wider world and often improve quality of life. Also, some local economies may not have the resources or technology to produce high-quality versions of every item. That could make products more expensive or less reliable. So I think life would change by becoming more local in identity but less global in choice. Personally, I like the idea of supporting local products more often, especially food and small businesses, but I would not want to give up imports completely. A balanced system seems much better to me. We can value local production while still benefiting from global exchange. That way we keep both community strength and access to the wider world."
How can students earn while studying? What money-making ideas interest you? What difference would extra income make?
View 130+ Band Transcript
"Students can earn money while studying in several realistic ways, and I think this can be a very positive experience if the workload stays manageable. One common option is part-time work, such as helping in a cafe, bookstore, or office. These jobs may not pay a huge amount, but they teach responsibility, communication, and time management. Another good idea is tutoring. Students who are strong in a subject can help younger students and earn money at the same time. I especially like this idea because it is flexible and connected to education. Some students also do freelance work online, like basic design, translation, editing, or managing social media. Personally, I would be most interested in tutoring or online project work because they seem easier to balance with study. Extra income can make a real difference. It can help students pay for books, transportation, or daily expenses, which reduces pressure on their families. More importantly, it can give students a stronger sense of independence. When people earn even a small amount through their own effort, they often become more careful with money and more confident in themselves. Of course, studying should still come first, so students need to choose work that does not damage their academic performance. But overall, I think earning while studying is valuable because it builds both practical skills and personal responsibility."

What would you ask your future self? Why is this answer important to you?
View 130+ Band Transcript
"If I could ask my future self one question, I would ask, Did you keep becoming the kind of person you wanted to be, or did you slowly become someone else because life got too busy? To me, that question is more important than asking about money or career success. Of course, I care about those things, but I think character matters more in the long run. I want to know whether I stayed curious, kind, and brave enough to make difficult choices. Sometimes people reach their goals but feel empty because they lost their original values on the way. That is what I really want to avoid. Also, this answer matters to me because right now I am still making many important decisions about study, work, and relationships. If my future self could say, Yes, you stayed true to yourself, that would give me a lot of peace. If the answer were no, honestly, that would also be useful, because it would remind me to pay attention now. So, yeah, I think that single question could tell me much more than a simple prediction about the future. It would show whether I built a life that is not only successful on paper, but also meaningful to me."
If you could add one hour to your days from now on, what would you do with it? Explain your reasoning.
View 130+ Band Transcript
"If I could add one hour to each day from now on, I would use it mostly for quiet, intentional learning. Daily life can become so full of small tasks that it is hard to spend real time on long-term growth. So an extra hour would be a chance to focus on something meaningful without feeling rushed. I would probably divide that time between reading, practicing a useful skill, and reflecting on what I learned. For example, some days I might study a language, and on other days I might read nonfiction or improve a professional skill. I think this would be better than using the extra hour only for entertainment, because entertainment helps me relax, but learning changes my future. Another reason I would use the hour this way is that personal growth often gets postponed. People say they will start when they have more time, but somehow that time never appears. If I knew I had one extra hour every day, I would want to protect it carefully. Also, that habit would probably make the rest of my day feel more purposeful. Even a small amount of regular progress can create big results over time. So, yeah, if I had that extra hour, I would not want to waste it. I would use it to become a little more knowledgeable, more capable, and maybe even more thoughtful each day."
Can online learning match traditional classroom education? Share your thoughts on both methods.
View 130+ Band Transcript
"I think online learning can match traditional classroom education in some situations, but not in every situation. Online learning has clear advantages. It gives students more flexibility, saves travel time, and often allows them to review lessons more easily. For example, recorded classes can be watched again, which is great for students who need more time to understand difficult material. It can also help people who live far from schools or have busy schedules. In that sense, online learning can be very powerful. However, I do not think it fully replaces the classroom experience. In-person education offers direct interaction, quicker feedback, and a stronger sense of community. Students can ask spontaneous questions, notice body language, and build relationships more naturally with teachers and classmates. That social environment can make learning more active and motivating. I have noticed that many people, including me, find it easier to stay focused in a real classroom than in front of a screen at home. There are simply fewer distractions. So my view is that both methods have strengths. Online learning is excellent for convenience and access, while traditional classrooms are often better for engagement and human connection. Ideally, schools could combine the best parts of both. A flexible system with online resources and face-to-face support would probably help the greatest number of students learn effectively."
Does digital equipment help or hurt learning? Share your views on classroom technology.
View 130+ Band Transcript
"In my opinion, digital equipment mostly helps learning, but only when teachers and students use it in a smart way. Tools like tablets, computers, and projectors can make lessons more interesting and more flexible. For example, students can watch a short video, search for extra information, or do practice exercises right away instead of waiting until they get home. That kind of quick access is really useful. Also, digital tools can support different learning styles. Some students learn better by reading, while others understand faster through pictures, audio, or interactive tasks. Technology can offer all of those. At the same time, I do not think classroom technology is automatically good. It can easily become a distraction. If students are checking messages or just clicking around without focusing, then the device is hurting the lesson instead of helping it. I have seen that happen too. So I think the real issue is not the equipment itself. It is how people manage it. Teachers need a clear purpose for using technology, and students need self-control. If both sides do their part, digital equipment can improve learning a lot. It can save time, increase access to information, and make difficult ideas easier to understand. So, overall, I would say technology is a strong support for education, but not a replacement for good teaching."
What makes a place feel like home to you, besides just being where you live? Share examples from your own life.
View 130+ Band Transcript
"For me, a place feels like home when I can fully relax there and be myself, not just when I happen to live there. Home is more about emotional comfort than location. One important part is familiarity. I like knowing the small details of a place, such as the sounds in the morning, the way the light comes in through the window, or even which corner feels best to sit in when I need quiet. Another part is the people connected to that place. A room can be beautiful, but if it feels cold or distant, it does not really feel like home. On the other hand, a very ordinary place can feel deeply comforting if the people there are supportive and warm. In my own life, I have felt this difference clearly. There have been places where I stayed for a while, but I never felt settled because I was always tense or unfamiliar with the environment. Then there are places that are not perfect at all, but the moment I enter, I feel calm. I think routines also matter. Simple things like sharing meals, keeping personal objects nearby, or having a favorite chair can create a strong sense of belonging. So, honestly, home is not just an address for me. It is a feeling of safety, acceptance, and quiet connection. When a place gives me that feeling, then I know it is home."

What matters most to you that can't be purchased? Why is this so valuable?
View 130+ Band Transcript
"What matters most to me that cannot be purchased is trust. Money can buy comfort, convenience, and many useful things, but it cannot buy genuine trust from another person. Trust has to be built slowly through honesty, consistency, and care. I think it is so valuable because it shapes the quality of almost every important relationship in life. Without trust, friendships become shallow, families face constant tension, and teamwork becomes difficult. Even if people stay connected on the surface, they do not feel truly secure with each other. I have learned that trust is also connected to peace of mind. When you trust someone, you do not need to keep questioning every word or action. That makes life emotionally lighter. The same is true in the other direction. Being trusted by others is meaningful because it shows that your actions match your words. In a world where people are often busy or distracted, reliable trust feels rare and precious. Also, once trust is broken, it can be very hard to repair. That is one reason I value it so much. So, yeah, if I had to choose one thing beyond material things, it would definitely be trust. It supports love, cooperation, and long-term stability, and none of those can be replaced by something you simply pay for. That is why I think trust is priceless."
Tell me about a recent argument with your closest friend. How did you resolve it? How did this affect your relationship?

"A recent argument with my closest friend happened because of a simple misunderstanding, but at the time it felt bigger than it really was. We had planned to meet on a weekend, and I thought we had already agreed on the time. I arrived early and waited for a while, but my friend did not show up. Later I found out that my friend thought we were meeting much later. I was annoyed, and I sent a pretty cold message. My friend felt hurt because from that message it sounded like I was blaming them without even asking what happened. After we both calmed down, we talked on the phone. I explained why I felt disappointed, and my friend explained that there was no bad intention at all. Honestly, the problem was not the schedule. The real problem was that I reacted too fast. We resolved it by speaking directly instead of texting, and that made a huge difference. Text messages can sound harsher than we mean. In the end, I actually think the argument helped our relationship. It reminded us to be more careful with communication and to give each other the benefit of the doubt. Now when something small goes wrong, we ask questions first instead of making assumptions, and that has made our friendship stronger."
Tell me about a time when you showed someone in charge they made a mistake. What did you do about it, and how did handling it this way affect you?
View 130+ Band Transcript
"One time I had to show someone in charge that they had made a mistake was during a group project. The team leader divided the tasks and gave me a section that did not match the updated instructions from our teacher. At first I felt uncomfortable bringing it up because I did not want to sound rude or make the leader lose face in front of everyone. So I waited until after the meeting and spoke privately. I said that I might be wrong, but I had checked the latest message from the teacher and it seemed that our project structure needed to be different. I showed the message and explained how the current plan could cause us to miss part of the assignment. Thankfully, the leader responded well. They looked at the instructions again, realized the mistake, and thanked me for pointing it out early. I think the way I handled it made a big difference. If I had corrected them publicly in a sharp tone, they might have become defensive. By speaking calmly and respectfully, I made it easier for them to accept the correction. This experience affected me in a positive way because it taught me that honesty and respect can go together. It also made me more confident. Sometimes we stay silent because we fear conflict, but speaking up at the right time can actually protect the whole group and improve the final result."
If you became your country's leader, what would be the first thing you would fix? What makes this issue important? How would fixing it benefit everyone?
View 130+ Band Transcript
"If I became my country’s leader, the first thing I would try to fix would be the gap in educational opportunity. I think this issue is deeply important because education affects almost every part of society. When people have access to good schools, skilled teachers, and useful learning resources, they have a better chance to build stable lives. But when education is unequal, the effects continue for years. Students in poorer areas may work just as hard as others, but they start with fewer tools and fewer chances. That creates frustration and weakens social mobility. If I had the power, I would focus on improving public schools, supporting teachers better, and making sure students in different regions have fair access to technology and quality materials. I would also invest in practical education, not only exam preparation, so students learn communication, problem-solving, and career skills. Fixing this would benefit everyone, not just students. A stronger education system leads to a more skilled workforce, lower long-term inequality, and more informed citizens. It can also reduce crime and social tension over time. So, to me, education is not a small policy area. It is the foundation of a healthy country. If that foundation becomes stronger, many other problems become easier to address as well. That is why I would start there first."
Can artwork have hidden meanings beyond what you see? Do you agree or disagree? Tell me why you think this way.
View 130+ Band Transcript
"Yes, I definitely think artwork can have hidden meanings beyond what we first see. In fact, that is one reason art can be so powerful. On the surface, a painting, song, film, or poem may seem simple, but often it reflects emotions, social problems, personal memories, or political ideas underneath. Different people may notice different meanings, and I think that makes art more interesting, not less. Sometimes the artist puts those meanings there on purpose, and sometimes viewers create meaning through their own experiences. I believe both are valid. For example, a painting of an empty street might not be only about a street. It could suggest loneliness, peace, fear, or change depending on the colors, composition, and the viewer’s state of mind. That kind of depth is what separates art from something purely decorative. I think this way because I have had experiences where a piece of music or a film meant something very personal to me, even if someone else understood it differently. Good art leaves room for thought. It does not explain everything directly. Of course, not every artwork needs a deep hidden message, and sometimes a beautiful image is just a beautiful image. But overall, I strongly agree that art often contains layers beyond the obvious. That hidden meaning is part of what keeps people returning to the same works and discovering something new each time."

What basic ability should every child learn? Why teach it early? How would it have benefited you as a kid?
View 130+ Band Transcript
"I think one basic ability every child should learn early is how to communicate clearly and respectfully. A lot of people might say reading or math, and of course those are essential, but communication affects almost every part of life. A child who can express feelings, ask questions, listen carefully, and solve small conflicts calmly will have a huge advantage later. This skill helps in school, in friendships, and eventually at work. I think it should be taught early because habits form very quickly in childhood. If children learn to talk honestly and listen to others when they are young, that becomes natural for them. If they do not learn it early, they may grow up avoiding difficult conversations or reacting with anger. Looking back, I think this skill would have benefited me a lot as a kid. There were times when I felt shy or misunderstood, but I did not know how to explain myself well. Sometimes I stayed quiet even when I needed help. If I had learned better communication skills earlier, I probably would have been more confident and had fewer unnecessary problems. So, in my opinion, communication is not just a soft skill. It is a life skill. It shapes relationships, learning, and self-confidence, and that is why I think every child should start building it as early as possible."
Should tests have time limits or let students take as long as they need? Why do you think this is better?
View 130+ Band Transcript
"I think tests should have reasonable time limits, but those limits should be designed carefully. In many cases, a time limit is useful because it creates a standard condition for everyone. It also encourages students to think clearly under a little pressure, which can reflect real-life situations where decisions often need to be made within a certain time. Without any limit, some tests could become impractical and difficult to manage. However, I do not believe time pressure should be so strong that it stops the test from measuring actual knowledge. If students know the material but cannot finish because the time is unrealistically short, then the test may be measuring speed more than understanding. That seems unfair to me. I think the best approach is to give enough time for a prepared student to complete the task calmly, while still preventing endless delays. For certain subjects or for students with special needs, extra time may also be necessary. I have experienced both kinds of tests, and I feel the most fair exams are the ones where I can think, organize my answer, and still stay focused because there is some structure. So, yeah, I support time limits, but not extreme ones. A good test should evaluate knowledge, reasoning, and communication, not just who can move the fastest under pressure. Balance is the key in my opinion."
What's the most useful thing created in the last 50 years? Why has it made such a big difference?
View 130+ Band Transcript
"In my opinion, the most useful thing created in the last fifty years is the internet. I know that answer is not very original, but honestly, it is hard to ignore how much it has changed daily life. The internet has transformed the way people communicate, learn, work, shop, and access services. Before it, getting information often took much more time and effort. Now people can study almost any topic, contact others across the world, and solve practical problems within minutes. I think its biggest impact is access. A student in a small town can watch lectures, read articles, and practice skills that once might have been available only in large cities or expensive schools. Businesses can also reach customers more easily, and families can stay connected even when they live far apart. Of course, the internet has brought problems too, such as misinformation, distraction, and privacy concerns. I do not want to ignore that. But even with those problems, its overall influence has been enormous. It has changed not only convenience but also opportunity. Personally, I cannot imagine modern education or work without it. So, yeah, if I had to choose one creation that made the biggest difference, I would choose the internet because it has become part of almost every area of human life. Very few inventions have changed society so widely and so deeply in such a short period of time."
What two key elements lead to success? Why are these crucial?
View 130+ Band Transcript
"If I had to choose two key elements that lead to success, I would say consistency and self-awareness. A lot of people focus only on talent, but I do not think talent is enough. Consistency matters because success usually comes from repeated effort over a long period of time. Most goals are not reached by one big moment. They are reached by showing up again and again, especially when progress feels slow. A person who studies a little every day, practices regularly, or improves one skill step by step often goes much further than someone who depends only on motivation. The second element, self-awareness, is just as important. People need to understand their strengths, weaknesses, habits, and values. Without self-awareness, someone may work very hard in the wrong direction. They may copy other people’s goals instead of building a path that actually fits them. Self-awareness also helps people learn from mistakes without falling apart emotionally. They can adjust instead of giving up. I think these two elements work well together. Consistency gives you movement, and self-awareness gives you direction. If you have only one of them, your progress may be limited. So, for me, success is not only about reaching a result. It is about building good habits and making thoughtful choices over time. That is why I believe consistency and self-awareness are truly crucial."
Is living in a city better than living elsewhere? Why do you think so? Share examples from your experience.
View 130+ Band Transcript
"I think living in a city is better for some people, while living elsewhere is better for others, but if I had to choose, I would say city life has more advantages for me. One big reason is convenience. In a city, public transportation, hospitals, restaurants, libraries, and entertainment are usually much easier to access. That saves time and gives people more options in daily life. Another reason is opportunity. Cities often offer more jobs, more schools, and more chances to meet people from different backgrounds. I think that kind of environment can help people grow faster. In my experience, being in a place with more activity and diversity can be very motivating. At the same time, I understand why some people prefer smaller towns or rural areas. They can be quieter, cleaner, and less stressful. City life can be crowded and expensive, and sometimes it feels hard to slow down. So I do not think city life is automatically better in every way. It depends on personality and priorities. Still, for me, the benefits are stronger. I like having easy access to resources and feeling connected to new ideas and experiences. Maybe later in life I would want somewhere calmer, but right now I think a city offers the best mix of convenience, energy, and possibility. That is why I would choose it over living elsewhere."

Is doing research valuable homework or not worth the time? What's your view on this?
View 130+ Band Transcript
"I think doing research can be valuable homework, but it depends on the purpose and the way it is assigned. If research means students are just copying facts from the internet and putting them into a document, then honestly, that is not very useful. It wastes time and does not really build understanding. But if research asks students to compare ideas, check sources, and form their own opinion, then it becomes a very meaningful task. Good research homework teaches students how to think, not only how to collect information. That matters a lot because in real life we are surrounded by information all the time, and not all of it is reliable. Students need to learn how to judge what they read. I personally think research is most helpful when the topic connects to class and gives students some freedom. For example, if students are studying environmental issues, they could look at one local problem, learn about the causes, and suggest realistic solutions. That is much more engaging than answering a list of basic questions. So my view is not that research is always good or always bad. It becomes valuable when it encourages curiosity, analysis, and independent thinking. If teachers design it well, research homework can prepare students for university and even for daily decision-making later in life."
Who would you swap lives with for a week? What would you enjoy about their life? What could you learn from this experience?

"If I could swap lives with someone for a week, I would choose a nature documentary filmmaker. I think that life would be amazing because it combines creativity, travel, and close contact with the natural world. I would enjoy waking up in a completely different environment, maybe near mountains, forests, or the ocean, and spending the day observing animals or landscapes. That sounds both peaceful and exciting. It would also be interesting to see how much patience that kind of work requires. From the outside, it looks glamorous, but I am sure the reality includes long hours, uncertainty, and a lot of waiting for the right moment. I think I would learn two important things from that experience. First, I would learn to notice details more carefully. People who make documentaries have to pay attention to light, movement, sound, and timing. Second, I would probably gain a deeper respect for nature. When we live in cities or follow busy routines, we can forget how rich and delicate the natural world really is. Spending a week in that role might change the way I see the environment and my own daily habits. So, honestly, I would not choose a celebrity or a billionaire. I would rather step into a life that is meaningful, creative, and connected to something larger than everyday human concerns. I think that kind of experience would stay with me for a long time."
Should students choose their subjects freely or follow fixed programs? Why?
View 130+ Band Transcript
"I believe students should have some freedom to choose their subjects, but not complete freedom. A balanced system is probably the best option. On one hand, students are more motivated when they study something they are genuinely interested in. If a student loves biology, design, or literature, that interest can lead to deeper learning and better performance. People usually work harder when they feel personally connected to a subject. On the other hand, I do not think young students always know what knowledge they will need later. That is why some core subjects should remain part of the program. Skills like math, communication, science, and basic social understanding are useful in almost every field. If students avoid all difficult subjects too early, they may limit themselves without realizing it. So I would support a system with both required courses and elective choices. That way, students build a strong foundation but still have room to explore their strengths. I think this approach also reduces stress because students do not feel completely trapped in a fixed program. At the same time, it gives them enough structure to grow in a well-rounded way. So, yeah, freedom matters, but guidance matters too. Education should help students discover who they are while also preparing them for real life, and that usually requires both choice and direction."
Why should people learn a new language? How would knowing another language benefit you? How would you use your new knowledge of this language?
View 130+ Band Transcript
"People should learn a new language because language opens the door to both practical opportunities and a deeper understanding of other people. First, knowing another language can be very useful in education and work. It may allow someone to study abroad, apply for more jobs, or communicate with international clients and coworkers. In today’s world, that kind of flexibility is a real advantage. Second, learning a language helps people understand another culture more directly. When you know only translations, you often miss small meanings, humor, and emotion. Language lets you see how other people think and express themselves. If I knew another language better, it would benefit me by giving me more confidence in international settings and by making it easier to access books, videos, and conversations without depending on translations. I would use that knowledge in practical ways, such as travel, study, and maybe future work. I would also use it in everyday life online, because so much interesting information is shared in many languages. Honestly, I think language learning also changes the learner. It teaches patience, attention, and humility, because you have to accept making mistakes in order to improve. So, overall, I believe learning a new language is worth the effort. It does not just add a skill to your life. It expands the number of people, ideas, and experiences you can truly connect with."
Which period of history would you like to visit if you could travel back in time? Tell me why based on your own thoughts or experiences.
View 130+ Band Transcript
"If I could travel back in time, I would like to visit the period when the internet was just beginning to change everyday life, probably the 1990s. That might sound a bit unexpected, but I think it would be fascinating to see a world standing right at the edge of a huge transformation. People still lived mostly offline, yet new digital tools were starting to reshape communication, business, and entertainment. I would want to observe how people reacted to that change. Were they excited, doubtful, or maybe both? I think this period interests me because I grew up in a world where the internet was already normal. We often take it for granted. Visiting that earlier time would help me understand how quickly society can shift and how people adapt to new technology. I would also like to see daily life before smartphones took over everything. Maybe conversations felt more focused, and maybe people were more patient in certain ways. At the same time, life was probably less convenient in many areas. So I do not imagine the past as simply better. I just think it would be valuable to compare both worlds directly. Based on my own experience, technology has made life easier, but it has also made it harder to disconnect. That is why this period feels meaningful to me. It was the beginning of many opportunities, but also many challenges we are still dealing with now."
